Washer & Dryer 2007 3400 RL
I would like to no what kind of washer and dryer you all are using and how usefull they are. I did here that they hurt your hot water heater,we are full time and getting tired going to town to wash.

Naaa, don't worry about the hot water heater, it will work fine. We have run around 250 loads in our '07 3400RL, the heater is working great.

We have the Splendide Ariston stackables and DW absolutely loves them. I am not exagerating that she prefers these to the units we have in the stick house. The smaller loads are easier on her back injury and the cleaning is great. The only drawback that I know of that does not bother us is the extended drying time. Do research and make your own choice, but in my opinion, the investment is definitely worth it.

We have the Splendide Aristons as well. They have worked great for us so far. Never heard of a concern for the hot water tank before. Can't see how it would hurt.

We have the Splendide Ariston stackable also, and have had it in use since Jan 07. Was installed in Mesa Arizona by Camping World.
When we were thinking of selling the 5er, Delaine had planed to use the Splendide in our new stick house. We really don't have a problem with the Ariston. Yes drying time does take a little longer but planing is the thing you must do, and when your retired time isn't a problem. We also had the Splendide Combo 2100 and the only reason we went to the Splendide Stackable, we just wanted to be able to wash and dry at the same time. Good Luck with your choice. GBY.....

Splendide 2100.. Do not compare any RV W/D with your stick house W/D..they are two different machines. The Splendide is running as we speak.... It does small loads, it takes a long time about 3 hours average for a typical wash and dry.. It will vibrate the camper. Any of them are a HUGE convenience when on the road.It was money well spent for us...
