New air chuck or valve extenders?

For those of you that have a dually. Do you have any problems reading your tire pressure and adding air. I don't know if I should try the valve extenders because I see in camping world that they don't have very good reviews. I have a tire air gauge that they use on the big trucks and it works on one side but I can't get it to work on the other set. Also can't add air with the air chuck that I have even though it is made to use on dually tires. I can go and buy a new air chuck for the compressor that I bought at Sears or try the extenders. What would you suggest.
