campground memberships

We recently bought a 3931 and the dealer “gave” us a 13 month membership to 1000 Trails, unfortunately we can’t use it til next year due to previously made plans and they won’t let us put off the start daye od the trial membership. That being said, I was looking online and it looks like it might be good to have when we go cross country! Question is does anyone have a membership? and is it worth it or is it like a time share which can bog you down?
Thanks, see you around the campfire😃

It's worth to you depends on how you like to travel and which TT plan you have. They have so many different plans that is difficult to compare apples to oranges. We have enjoyed our plan. Not all parks are the same and some are a bit longer in the tooth than others. The company is investing money into all the parks we have personally seen. There is a very good article about TT plans on the RVLove.com blog. It has been well worth it to me.
