Have a great time! Have you stayed there before? We have reservations for a week in October and would love to hear your impressions.

IT IS FANTASTIC! The sites are clean and well cared for. We have a premium river site and it is just BEAUTIFUL! We have enjoyed watching the deer and squirrels. They have a lovely little bar and an adults only spa with an indoor and outdoor pool, a sauna, a steam room, a hot tub, exercise equipment and a top notch laundry facility. We are looking forward to the Memorial Day party the owners are hosting on Sunday. We are one of three other Montanas here this week and are expecting to see more before the weekend. YOU WILL LOVE IT HERE!!

Be sure to go to Fredericksburg and have some of that great German food for us. I am craving it already.

We stayed in the park when we went to Lost Maples. It is really a great place and is on our must go back list. The bartender at the bar can make one mean margarita.

Are they staying really full?

Helen, we did some wine tasting in Fredericksburg yesterday. We spent 10 day last year at the Lady Bird Johnson park in Fredericksburg and agree, the peppered sausages are fantastic!

Colleen, as for the park occupancy its fairly empty today (Wednesday) but expect it to fill to capacity by Friday for the Holiday weekend. We've enjoyed the empty space and ample deer in our back yard (and the peace and quiet) so far but are eager to see all the rigs pull in starting tomorrow.

We stayed in the park a couple of weeks ago and fully enjoyed it. It's quite peaceful and the park does an excellent job in park maintenance.

We have been thinking happy thoughts for you guys that the weather would abate. Hope you didn't have to move! We're scheduled to be there 6-13 October, and are confirmed for a premium water site, #57. Where are you? This seems like a great place and we are really looking forward to our week there. Hopefully, you won't have to answer the question, "Noah, how long can you tread water?" Take care!

Site 57 is a wonderful site!!! We were in 58 and both sites have a nice shade tree, is only a short stroll to the saloon, and I think these are the two nicest spots in the resort. The river got to 30 yards from our Monty and is back in its banks.

You'll like Kerrville. There's a brand new theater and Shriner's department store down town has some great bargains. Remember Fredericksburg is 25 minutes north for some wine tasting and German food, the Republique is a 5 star bistro on the main drag in town as well.
