Did not mean to flame any specific model, Nancy and I felt most comfortable with our 2955rl, not too big not to small, just right for us!
Happy Camping

There is a separate charge for the Hydralic Selector Valves, it is not included in the price on invoice. The charge for that option in an additional $210.00. This is on a 2006 3400RL that we will be picking up hopefully in the next two weeks.

RKassl, I didn't take it that way. I just wanted to point out that initial looks can be deceiving. Sorry if I came across differently.

Since I made this original post, noticed on the brochure where the "Hyd Selector Valves" are listed as an option. I would guess in the near future, they'll be standard, because they are standard in every other make/model we are considering purchasing...roughly the same price range.

I just got a quote from a dealership about three days ago for a 2007 and the hydraulic selector valves were still being priced as an option.

I also double checked last Friday with my dealer on my options ordered. I specifically brought up the selector valves. He also said that they were still an option on the early 2007s, and I had to make sure he had specified this for me.

Dave,
I just read your new fulltiming date on your posts. I am really glad that we didn't order a Monty now. If they shut the factory down we wouldn't have gotten ours until the end of August. Hubby could already be in Florida, or who knows where by then.
I hope to have ours parked on the pad before June 2nd. That will depend on the PDI and when I can get back over to the dealership and do the second pre PDI.

Colleen, the factory shutdown, I believe, is for the first week in July. Why my unit was delayed from the June 21st date, due to the first week in July shutdown is a mystery. I will give Mark Kroll a call tomorrow and nicely ask to explain this. I think there is another explanation as to what slowed it down to a July 11th delivery. There has to be something else involved with my particular unit. Jim E. mentioned that they sometimes are having a hard time getting this material.
