2005 Rally Potluck Side Dish Sign-up Here

Don (Searchers), Nancy (ToolManRoy) and myself (D-and-M-on-the-Road) have been getting email from folks asking what they should bring for side dishes to the potluck at Shasta.

Don said he could handle 19 desserts showing up, but not 19 salads!

So we figured that we should have a sign-up here so everyone can see what others are bringing and put Don's fears to rest. (I bet he makes me delete this!)

We've got time to think about this but if you already know what you want to bring, go ahead and post in this topic and we'll add it to the master list below so that it will be easy to see what is needed for the potluck. If we don't have a category below that fits your dish, well heck, we'll just make one!

We figured folks would bring their own plates, silverware and drinks along with their side dish. Oh yeah, don't forget we are having ribs and you might need more than one napkin!

Yum! Both 3-bean salad and garlic bread sound great! Be sure to use plenty of garlic, Searchers. I'll bring a broccoli-raisin salad.

It made perfect sense Mike.....*LOL. Yes, the room at the campground does have a small kitchen complete with a stove.

Just let us know and keep a watch on what others are bringing. Glad to have you coming to Shasta..

Have fun this weekend on your trip..... it should be beautiful weather.

Okay, Margee - how much broccoli salad can Doug eat? I'll be sure to bring plenty, but we may have to ration him! LOL!

Looks like we're going to have a great pot luck dinner!

Sharon my hubby is a big boy and can eat alot of broccoli salad. I'm sure he'll try and keep room available for dessert though. Each time I add a dish to the list it makes ME hungry. I've started working out on my elliptical cycle again and I am almost up to 2-1/2 minutes on it.....*whooHoooo!!

It's gonna take alot more than that to help me, but hey.... it's a start.

Countdown to Shasta from today:
