black tank flush

Have a leak obviously in the hose or the black tank flush to the black tank. Hooked up.....turn water on....and water starts leaking right away....not from the connection but somewhere behind the wall. Anybody ever fix one??

Probably back flow preventer. Look behind bath sink, if you have 4 lines going up 2 will have the back flow preventer. You should be able to pull them out to get to it.

If it leaks only when you turn on the black tank flush then it is almost for sure the anti siphon back flow prevention valve. Could be under a sink. Could be inside a wall. What year and floor plan do you have?

Could also be a disconnected hose at the tank. My unit had a crack in the tank, but when we were fixing it, noticed the back flush hose wasn't screwed all the way into the tank. I am pretty sure there was some water spraying or at least leaking out at that point.

If you are not getting water in the unit(under the bathroom sink or in the wall between the shower and the closet- depending on the unit and age of the unit) it is the connection into the tank itself or it could be behind the convenient center where the line connects to the female connection in the convenient center.
