Galley light

Can anybody tell the function of the galley sensor. I've drained the tanks but still get a reading for "GALLEY". Not familiar with this term. Thx.

You may want to post your model number. Most present day Montanas have 3 tanks. The usual black and grey and a third for the kitchen sink called a galley tank. It's dump handle is usually near the rear axle coming thru the frame under the side skirting.(Street Side)

I see from a previous post that you have a model 2955RL. The galley tank is the wastewater tank for the kitchen sink. The pull handle should be between the camper wheels on the driver's side.

And just a side note...we were not given the orientation on the galley tank when we bought (used), so when the sink plugged up I was sure I had a clog in the drain. My galley level showed full but didn't have a clue what that was telling me. It was then, after several hours of searching and finally finding help on the MOC forum, that I found the third tank drain in the street side wheel well with no handle on it. Boy did I feel stupid.

Same for me with my new dealer purchased Montana; no orientation to the "Galley" dump valve - didn't know it existed. I thought everything happened with the 2 dump valves in the convenience center. So, when I removed the drain cap to hook up my sewer hose, (the dealer had left the galley valve open) the galley water immediately flowed all over. From that "significant" event forward, I knew there's a galley dump valve!
