We were there last year and it was fine. You will not be cramped and the farm itself is great. If you like horses, you will love it here.

It is a great campground just outside Lexington. It is actually a very large horse farm where many things are going on so you will see lots of horses out and about. Very spacious lots, grass, trees, no FH. The Horse Park itself has a museum with many things to see, wonderful. There are horse shows with the retired derby winners, not sure if all that is in season. One of our favorite places to stop when travelling thru that area. The countryside around there makes for a pleasant drive. Enjoy as much as you have time for, try not to miss the museum!

It's a great campground. Spacious, green and in such an interesting environment. As everyone has said, don't miss the museum and make sure to tour all of the farm. Some beautiful horses there.

Can only repeat what everyone else is saying. Take some time to drive around the countryside too. Some amazing places around there. We like to be in the back of the west circle where there is a lot of space behind you. Redbuds and Dogwoods should be blossoming at this time of the year. KY has a number of great state parks, it is worth taking the time to explore them. I would not camp there, but Natural Bridge State Park is worth a visit, and only a modest drive from KHP. Take the chair lift up to the bridge, and be prepared to be in awe.
