Very small mod, but helpful

When we first started full timing we had a problem identifying what charger went with what item. From flashlights to camera card readers to emergency road batteries they all have similar looking chargers. Actually the problem began when we sold the stick house and couldn't identify some of them. Joyce's idea was to take the little paper disks with a hole in them and a metal edge, you get them at hardware and office supply stores, write what the charger belongs to on it and then secure the tag to the cord with a small wire tie. Trim the wire tie and the whole thing is neat and you don't have to pull your hair out and try to read tiny imprinted writing to get the right charger out of the box of many. It just occurred to me today to share this when it only took me a couple of minutes to find a flashlight charger that took me a day to find in the stick house.

We do the same with a label maker. Good idea.

what I have done in the past is to use different color electrical tape, red, blue, green, gray, and put a couple wraps around the cord on both items. then a quick look for the color and shazam!!!

I have also seen people use the plastic holders from a loaf of bread on the wire. Just write on it with a sharpie what it goes to. If you are careful enough, you could even color code them!
