Dometic A/C

I know this has been covered to some extent before, My rear ac won't work. I have reset the thermostat, the front ac works but when I switch over to zone one and let the thermostat do its thing it finally goes to E7. I've checked for loose wires above and below. What next? I'm in no big hurry but we are trying to get things ready for our big summer trip. thanks' for any help you can give.

Error code E7 means loss of 120 volts to the A/C. You will probably find the breaker tripped in the electric panel. Not sure if the breaker is tripped, why it would. At least, this is a place to start.

If all else fails check the makeup box for loose wire connections. It will be under the grill on the ceiling if you have the grill on the ceiling in the back. If no grill I don't know where the box is located. Someone might come along with that info. Joe

Ok thanks everyone. I went out this morning and started working to find what was wrong. I plugged a light in the island receipt and no juice. So I start checking every other receipt and ALL ground faults will not work and tv, stereo and fireplace in slide no work. So I start checking some things that I hung the other day. They seem to be ok no wires hit, go outside and tear all the covers off I had used to seal up the bottom. On the left rear where the main 50amp cord comes in, and the wires are joined to the slide wires, I pulled each plug apart and checked for juice. Only one was good, two bad. Hmmm go to main breaker box and pull cover. Check every thing. Good on one side of the main but nothing on the other. So I have to take a break and figure this out. Hang in there this gets good. Go out and start at my 30 amp post. Everything is good there. Check 30amp adapter to the 50amp cord, that's good too. Well lets check the cord, so I unhook it from the fiver. No juice on one leg but good on the other. Now I have one of those 90 degree adapters on the cord so I separate that from the python. Holy crap the water pours out of it. Well this could be the problem. I dry it out well and hook straight to the fiver and go in and check the main breaker. I've got power all across the board. Yipee. Go down reset all the ground faults and hey hey hey. Turn on the main ac and we are in business. so now I get to go put everything back together but at least we found it. I guess that 14 inches of rain we had one day last week didn't help to much. So now you know. Thanks again. JP
