State Parks are ok. We have stayed at a few of them.

Letchworth State Park. We were there a few years ago, and they were upgrading their sites to accomodate newer, larger trailers. You can book on ReserveAmerica.

We spent a week in Bath NY at Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort and enjoyed it. Very clean, easy access, wireless Internet and even an on-site spa.

We stayed at the Watkins Glen KOA a few years ago. It was so nice and clean. My famly and I really enjoyed staying there.
