Detailing Cost???

Well, I'm not as young as I used to be and my shoulders hurt just thinking about washing and waxing the Montana. How much do you think I should expect to pay to have this done at the dealer?

thanks.

Walt

I dont Know if there's any Blue Beacon truck washes in your neck of the woods but they are all over and here's what they charge.

And here's a list of locations. Just to give you and idea.

You will find all kind of different prices. If you are a snowbird, wait until you go to Florida, or your favorite winter location, there is usually people that want the work to pay for their trip and are very reasonable and good at their job. This winter, there was a couple from Canada that charged $185 for hand wash and wax. The wash was top to bottom and they were very detail oriented people.

In our park in Florida, for a large fifthwheel, $180-200 for a wash, and handwax, buffed out. That includes the roof.

I was quoted $110 by a resident at Rainbow Plantation in Summerdale, AL for hand wash (including roof) and hand wax. Also included tire treatment. His references checked out well, but weather did not cooperate for me to have it done as we were scheduled to leave in 2 days.

I don't think I would pay dealer's price for this service. Will be expensive!
