Surprise ending

All of us like a novel with a surprise ending, a twist we had never considered. Occasionally, life has those same moments where the unexpected happens. Some times we are caught unaware and surprised by joy. Such was my experience at the close of my final class at the institute where I have served as dean over the last three years.

When I had closed the class, the president, at the direction of the Board of Directors, granted me an honorary Doctorate of Christian Counseling. Such surprises are not designed to be absorbed alone, rather to be shared with with those who hold a place of significance. So it is that I share it with you.

WOW! What an HONOR! Congratulations on you "doctorship". And it comes at a great time in your ministry. I just LOVE how God puts "things" together to meet our needs. The longer I hang around Him, the more I understand that there is no such thing as a 'coincidence'!!!

I agree with BigSky that with God there isn't any concidences. At our Via De Christo weekend one of the fellows in my group said that "concidences were minor miracles where God chose to remain anonymous!" Great thought and TRUE! Right Dr. Watson!

Congratulations on your recent honor. it is these types of things and when students return telling you of their success that makes the education field rewarding.
