This is Weird. Do you believe in Gremlins?

Watching TV off Air with antenna up, green light is on the booster and every time we turn on the ceiling lights in the bedroom we lose TV signal on the TV in the living area and in the bedroom.

Any ideas?

I believe the antenna booster is 12 volt, as is your ceiling lights. That being the case, somewhere, you have a bad connection in the 12 volt circuit that feeds the lights and the signal booster. It could be a loose connection in the fuse panel, or elsewhere in the circuit.

Do you have LED lights in the bedroom? Sometimes they interfere with the signal.

Ours does the same thing when you're in a weak signal area. Too many things on one circuit. We changed our "bat wing" antenna to one of those "Jack" things and that helped a lot but if the signal is weak it will go out when you turn on some lights. I would like to run a dedicated line to the booster but haven't figured out how yet.

Ours has always done that. Just a weak signal. In some areas with a strong signal we can turn on all the lights and never lose a signal.

I had a similar issue only it was when we turned on the bathroom fan. Replaced the ends on the coax behind the front room television and it solved the issue. Evidently the Amish that build these things are not very good with crimped coax connectors. I think you may be dealing with an electrical interference to the TV signal as opposed to a low voltage issue. Perhaps John Kohl will be along shortly to speak to this issue. He has a ton of knowledge in this area. Jim

My '14 does the same thing. Turn on the LED lights in the bedroom or bathroom the signal goes away. If you turn on the lights over the sink that are not LED it does not affect the signal.

In front of the house, everything works, in a campground 60 miles out of town you loose the signal when you turn on the LED lights.

Normal.......

Had the same issue with LED's in the bathroom. Sold the RV and the problem went with it! Now my surround sound interferes with the signal when it is weak! Still love the life!
