New to site and new Montana owners!

Hi Everyone,
We are new to the site and proud owners of a 2020 Montana 3810ms wheeler!! We are going to need support and friends here. My wife and I plan on selling our home and going full time. We had a 2013 keystone crossroads sunset reserve and camped locally for a month while going to work from camping every day. We didn’t wanna go home and that’s all it took. Decided to sell everything and enjoy life much simpler with our dogs with us here in San Diego. I have read many post here and it’s been helpful learning all about repairing thing, how to level, fix little things and very much enjoyed the community as a reader. Now we are jumping in with our keystone family. Looking forward to making friends here and gaining from your experiences. Thank you all!!
Big thank you’s.

Welcome to the forum from Fullerton, CA. We owned a Crossroads Sunset Trail Reserve 5th wheel and traded up for our 2016 Montana. You'll like the change. The Montana is a well made, and significantly better rig than the Sunset Trail will ever be! (personal opinion).

Thank you!

We are going to do a PDI today. I have a list of things to inspect from the website. We are going to make our inspection and have anything fixed then sign documents. They were trying to rush it a bit and I get it. My experience is to keep the money and document carrot in front of them. It seems to expedite things. Thank you to everyone that has welcomed us. We plan to be involved in the community and learn from your experience. Keep you posted on how everything goes. We plan to pick it up and use it for a weekend as we would and do it at a local campground. Feel free to chime in with tips etc. many thanks!!!!

Welcome aboard. Picked up our new 2020 3813MS 3 weeks ago then straight into indoor storage. Our shake down trip comes in April with a trip to Eastern TN. Lots of great info here. We retire when our house sells... Let the adventure begin.

Enjoy.

New Owners

We too are new to the Owners group. Just bought a 2020 3120RL and love it. No issues at all yet and that is sooo good. It's quality is so far superior to the 2017 Open Range that we bought new and had no end of quality issues. It's so nice to enjoy the unit instead of being so frustrated with endless issues.

Welcome! Glad you found us here. We have been full timing for 11 years now. Presently own 2 5ers, having just sold our Montana before returning to Mexico for the winter. The two we currently have are semi permanent and the Monty was our traveling rig. We will be purchasing a 3120 when we return to the US by mid March or so.

Welcome! I sold my house and purchased a 2020 3810MS in July. Living in it FT, still working, commute to office when necessary, otherwise work remotely. I am in love with the lifestyle. So simple and easy. When I want to travel, I pull up stakes and take my house with me. When I come back, I dropped the jacks again in my monthly site and I'm "back home". You will love it! There is nothing quite like being house-free
