It's Official....Wahoo!!!!

It's official...today was my last day of work....wahoo....I am officially retired........we went out to dinner to celebrate the milestone and talk about how quickly the next two weeks are going to go by. My final evaluation and release by the doc for the rotator cuff surgery is the 10th of August and once I get the green light we will be setting off on our adventure. We are excited and can't wait to get started....have a couple of things to take care of....like the alignment of the monty axle and finishing the install of the spare fuel tank, then we will be on our way to South Dakota to get drivers licenses and then on to Goshen for the Rally. Thank you all for all your help can't wait to meet you all in Goshen.

Betty and Paul

Paul, Congratulations on your retirement. I retired this pass X-Mas, and what a great feeling. However, I still have one problem. The DW doesn't retire for another two years. So we are limited to short trips with the Monty. But, as soon as she retires, we'll hit the road for some of those three and four month trips. Enjoy it while you can, Paul.....Joe

Betty (and Paul)

Ya'll be careful not. Being retired and doing nothing is hard work. You never know when you are finished. So don't under do it.

Most days I don't do anything until noon, and then I do it twice.

Congratulations to you both!!!

Wow, the life of retirement, twice the togetherness and half the income. Like others warn, don't under do nothing because you can never overdo it.

Huh? I think I just confused myself. But being retired means that can happen a lot.
