Need help wiring freezer
Hello all. I'm looking for help with wiring the washer/dryer receptacle to the residential fridge circuit. We have a 2019 3931FB. The DW wants to add an additional freezer. I pulled the shelves from the cabinet where the washer/dryer would go and installed a 3CF freezer. I now need help locating where the residential fridge connects so I can tie in the freezer. I also realize I need to upgrade the inverter to handle the additional load. I also plan to add an additional battery to support the added load while driving down the road. Am I forgetting anything? RVs are new to me so any help is greatly appreciated.
BTW I called Keystone for info and got nah-dah from them. Here's what it looks like so far.

We keep a chest freezer similar to yours in our 3400RL in the washer/dryer closet. We have traveled as long as 11 hours with the power off and have never had any significant defrosting, even in the summer time. Just my $.02.

First of all, my freezer stays frozen when traveling with out connecting to an inverter. But here is how I would do what you want. The inverter usually has two 120V output plugs. Keystone uses on to run the refer. I would intercept the washer/dryer circuit (near the breaker box?), extend it and add a 120V plug, and plug it into the second outlet on the inverter.

What Carl said, but add a transfer switch to allow it to be run on shore power.
You may also want to add to your battery bank.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't think a small freezer would stay cold for up to 11 hours. I know our 12cf at the house will stay cold all day w/o AC. I will try going without AC and see what happens before spending a lot of unnecessary time on this project.

I have one of the Dometic AC/DC Fridge/Freezer being used strickly as a Freezer in our Basement. Was originally going to install a 12V outlet, but decided to tie it into the Inverter (Magnum MMS1012 Model Inverter/Charger) running the Fridge. Installed a new Duplex outlet in the basement getting power from the inverter. So I'm running both off a 1000 Watt inverter and when both are running drawing 16 Amps from my 460 AmpHr Battery bank.
No problem running on Shore Power since the Inverter has a built-in Transfer Switch.

Ditto on this. Those freezers draw maybe 100 watts so can piggy back on the same output as the reefer.

X2 with DRJJJ--we have traveled for 12 years with a 5 cubic foot freezer and never had it defrost while we were towing for a day. Recommend your suggestion to try it before modifications/connections are made for towing.

I unplugged the freezer and after 8 hours everything was still frozen. I don't believe I need to do anything more. Thanks for everyone's input.

You may discover that there will be a large difference with the freezers inside temperature when traveling 8-10 hours in 40 degree weather vs 100 degree weather. This just means there is no rush to get the wiring to the freezer from the inverter done.
