Netflix connection

Trying to watch Netflix on our TV. Internet in most RV parks are to busy or weak that we can't get good reception
What options are available to us where we would have our own personal internet site so we can receive good Netflix connection?

Any of the cell phone vendors offer unlimited data plans that are plenty fast enough for Netflix or whatever.

Use a phone, hotspot, tablet of what ever floats your boat. I have an unlimited Mobley plan from AT&T (no longer available) an old 3g unlimited plan from Verizon, and a limited data plan for my phone/tablet. They have been more than enough for what we do.

I'm soon going to let my Mobley Plan go as I no longer need it. Know anyone who has the plan that would like a backup device and power plug/cord?

Is the plan itself available? That is the real vaue. The device and power cord are not worth much unless you have the plan.

The plan is still active and am actually using it right now. How can this be done? I understand that some people like to have an extra on hand in case theirs takes a dump.

I don't know exactly. I am also reluctant to talk to AT&T about anything related to a Mobley plan. Don't ask, don't tell.

If you have a separate account just for the Mobley, it would be simple to change the credit card being billed, email address, and maybe the logon id/password to someone else.

If it is bundled in with other AT&T offerings then you are way beyond my pay grade.

It is a totally separate account and the ONLY device I have with ATT. All my other wireless is with Consumer Cellular.

A friend and his wife just started full timing so I think I'll ask him if he wants it.

Sure, it is too good a deal to let it go back. I am sure I can find a taker if you can't.

Actually if my friend isn't interested I would feel better just selling the device for a modest price and let the account go. Am not looking to profit as I have already saved TONS by using it. Due to health issues (My vision) we have given up the Full time lifestyle and the Monty goes on the market very soon.

if you have Dish, I think Netflix is channel 302 or somewhere up that way.

Yes, but you need to have an internet connection, which is the problem

hmmmm......I need to study on this a bit if wireless is as fast as a landline? We opted for a hardline at present since we are stationary for next few years. Nearly all our TV viewing is ROKU including Netflix. But I do game too and I have yet to hear of anyone using wireless for gaming.

For rv internet while traveling wired is usually not an option. The Togo lets me stream on all 3 tv’s without issue. Would it be good for gaming..? I would think not as far as ping or bandwidth. When researching TOGO there was 1 person who said their kid games with it, my experience would be no, unless there was strong WiFi and you were using the TOGO in WiFi mode.

This should help you decide which plan will work for you.
