New here but I am thinking it may be what we call a suicide cord, that was probably installed if the previous owner destroyed his 30 or 50 amp outside plug or cord, by leaving it plugged in while moving the camper, or was camping somewhere and didn’t have an adapter. By wiring an everyday extension cord male end into a breaker you could back feed from a standard 120 outlet, if you were in a pinch. Then he either didn’t cap it or remove it and you got saddled with someone’s, fairly unsafe temporary fix, that stayed permanent.
