Just hook a short garden hose (I actually bought a single washer hose) to the hot/ cold washer plumbing. Run into a bucket till pink stuff comes out them stick it in the drain also for the P trap.

Before you start be sure to open all low point drains then open faucets lots of water will come then close everything and start pumping pink stuff.
Go around and do 1 faucet at a time, toilet, outside shower.
Some say to do the black tank flush? I thought it was self draining but I’m going to do it this year.

Or you could open the valves and drain the lines through the low point drains, just make sure to close them again. I cut the lines and installed shark bite shut-offs in the basement, as we don’t plan on having a W/D.

Never have done the black tank flush on my 2008 3400RL, I would think there would have been a problem by now, after nearly 11 years .

As far as the washer hook up, I do the same, short hose ,drain in a bucket. Again I don't bother with the P trap, never had a washer hooked up, never had the cap off the drain, so theres never been any water in it.

Mark

I am going to do the same, two less lines to deal with especially since having to hook up a hose to them to get winterized . Thanks for the tip
