Dealership hit
Disaster struck. Our Montana dealership Burlington RV in Southeastern Wisconsin got hit with a tornado about 4:00PM. Several Montana's on their sides and opened up. All brand new. What a shame!

Hate to hear that! I was wondering if you have a news lead URL for it?

Wow I guess Those pictures answer my questions about what they will do with the damaged Montys.I am not so sure after seeing how thin those walls are how effective that arctic package can be.

Thanks for posting. Burlington RV is our dealer also. I dropped Tim Wegge a quick note. Tornadoes yesterday, cold today, snow Wednesday? Must be the Midwest.

One should never feel safe around tornadoes, but those pictures leave a definite feeling of insecurity for me as a full timer. On a night about a week ago, sudden straight line winds of 60+ MPH winds hit with such force that it tilted the slides inward on the windward side. Later, we heard of tornadic activity north of us. Stick houses are no less vulnerable, but Monty seems quite fragile in that situation.
Typically, if we have warning, we seek more substantial shelter. There was tornadic activity around Goshen, IN, while we were there. We were glad to learn that there was a well stocked basement in the building across from the fairgrounds office for us to find secure shelter had we needed it.
