Gonnabe fulltimer

I'm Don, DW is Bonnie. Our stick house is near a small town, Mineral City, Ohio, south of Canton. Retirement is in sight (616 days, not that I'm counting) and when freedom happens the stick house will be gone and we will be ready to hit the road full time. We just ordered a 2007 Classic Chevy Silverado 3500 with the Duramax and Allison 6 speed. Delivery should be sometime in mid-December. By the time we buy the Monty, the truck will be fully and properly equipped, thanks to the great info we've learned here on this forum. We are still undecided on the exact Monty model that we will get. We were warm on the 3475RL because of the openness in the living area. Your comments have steered us now toward the 3400RL for the additional counter space and storage in the galley area. Also if the 3485 replaces the 3475 before we buy, we really don't want to lose the drawer stack in the corner of the bedroom. Thanks for providing such a wealth of knowledge with the MOC web site.

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you'll have a great truck so you can pull any Montana that they offer. The search will be fun. You'll be on the road before you know it!

Sure sounds like you have done your homework and planning. Congrats on your new Duramax, I know you are going to love that truck. Trying to decide on which Montana fits you best is only half the fun. The minute you pull that baby off the lot for the 1st time is when the rest of the fun begins!!! Best of luck in your decision and remember, if it is a Montana you cant go wrong...

Welcome Don and Bonnie to the MOC Family.

616 days may seem like a long time but it'll be here before you know it.
This club is a wealth of information not only for a new TV but also for those buying their first Montana but for those of us buying our second. By the time you are ready to place that Monty order you will feel like seasoned pros.

Welcome and congratulations! You're halfway there. And the 616 days will go more quickly than you think. I think that's about the time I started my paperclip "shortimer's chain." I started with weeks and took one off every Monday morning until I got to about six months out and changed it to a paperclip per day!
