Slide Floor Sagging
Anyone have this issue: We have a 07 - 3400RL, the floor in the big slide will give when you step on it, between the table and sofa. Started a few months ago and I really didn't think much of it until the other day when I was pulling out the inner dining chair. I stepped in and felt the floor definitely give. I sat 2 chairs 2 inches apart at the top, stepped behind them and measured 1-7/16", a 9/16 sag at that spot. I don't know how scientific that is but it definitely sags.
Anyone know what the warranty on the floor decking is, on the factory tour we were told lifetime but the Montana Warranty book doesn't cover anything over one year.

I just checked my floor in the same place and it is pretty flexible. Feels like a very thin subfloor. Will have to check that further. Will let ya know what I find... Dave and Betsy

Mine does it too. I never noticed till this fall, but I think it always was that way.

JimF,
With our 3400RL, came a flooring warranty. Here is the info that may help:
www.affiliatedresources.net is the company and the product is Dyna-Span listed on their site. Knowing this, I would rely on my dealer to handle this matter. The warranty on floor panels is listed at 25 years for what is called delamination. Good Luck. Dennis

So richfaa, maybe if I went to that part of the RV I would have known that?? We haven't noticed cause we're so darn head-up about the new rv.
Maybe it's like a hammock? or a floating floor? or an RV? Tks. Dennis

I never noticed it till it was mentioned on the forum and we sort of bounced up and down on it a bit.

Bounce is one thing, a little give isn't unexpected, this sucked sags, and it dropped so bad it pulled the screws out of the table where it screws into the floor. Can we say trampoline. I stopped and looked at a new 3400 at a dealer on the way home, it had a little give. Mine is about 10 times worst.
I'm going to have the dealer look at it and get the "official" non-committal response.

Jim mine also pulled out the screws from the table. and when i took it to the dealer he called key stone and they told him to over lay the floor with 3/8 plywood. but that would make the floor uneven. they would not autherize him to put in a new floor. so i called keystone myself and was told if i wanted a new floor i would have to bring it to the factory service center. that is why it took it there. again just my experiance.
