New look for kitchen window
We removed the material valance and the venetian blind from the window. We ordered and installed a sunscreen roller blind made by Sunshades of Colorado and purchased some sheers and installed them on a cafe rod over the sunshade. Now when the sun shines brightly we pull down the roller blind and it filters the sun rays, keeps the heat out but still lets the light in.
In case anyone is interested, we purchased the roller blind through "Colour Your World" in Ontario. The cost was about $125. Cdn.

Saw this improvement in person. It's a "I want that". Bill and Ann did a great job. Send a picture of the "bear" too.

Ok: Here is the link to the pics. of the kitchen window. It is under the 3670RL improvements album.
The blind was made by Carefree of Colorado and is the Sunshade material. You can see through it. It is similar to the material on our rear window shade. The blind is a roller type with the chain on the right side. I hope I have the link correct.

Great job I like the idea of all the heavy dishes close to the floor and the window is much more pleasing to the eye, looks like a home.
