space under oven
Hi,
being currious, i removed the paneling from under the stove/oven on our 3670RL, and discovered a rather large storage space ...
i have read thru a copy of threads and would like to know it any one knows of a reason that this space could not be used for storage???
a door over the hole is an easy fix, with self closing hinges ...

We hava a 2004 3575RL I have Been thinking of that my self also above the micro I think there is a lot of room but have not checked it out. As for under the oven I was going to check and see what the temp. was under the oven when we where using it. It would be a bad thing to burn up such a nice rig let alone could be bad for any one inside.

Yep.. door fronts are a piece of oak from Home Depot... slide outs are pre finished shelveing from the same place. The white is melamine shelveing... better then a sheet as the one edge is finished.
A zip with the router makes the doors match, then the finish is gloss varathane.

You are quite handy? Do you think your wife would trade you for my husband? He can't do anything, I do most everything around the house.

I have a 3650 RK, and I actually already have a drawer under my stove, it is a 2004, so maybe they are starting to think about that.

I just picked up this thread (don't know where I have been!) OOOOOOH Gruffy -- What a WONDERFUL idea!!! Your idea will be moving up to the number one spot on the "honey to do list". This will be a really good project for hubby when we get home from the rally. Really do appreciate you sharing your idea. Thank you.
