3685 FL slide leaking again

well here we go again, the front slide is leaking again! last time the dealer couldn't reproduce the leak....we will see what happens. my couch and livingroom rug were wet again after the last storm. water is following the slide channel into the camper...I don't know how...it doesn't make sence, but it is!

After driving all day, 10 hours, in a hard rain, residue of Ivan, last Friday, our carpet was soaked near the front of the kitchen slide. So I guess I need to crawl under and figure out why.

Are you sure that it isn't coming in around the front vent?

Steve If you are going to be at the rally I can show what I did to fix the problem on the same model and same place. If your not going maybe this will help take your kitchen slide half way out and see if you can fell a hole in the floor make a shield to keep the water away from the opening and I used silicone to fill that area to keep water fom getting in there don't get carried away with the sealer you still want you slidder to open and close. Good luck

Yes I'm sure it's not the roof vent. it's comming in from the outside via the steel channel the supports the slide...I saw it, just don't know how the water got there.

Glass Guy, we are at the rally right now. Site 85. First site immediately east of that old Grand Teton fifthwheel that's right in the middle of all these Montanas. I'd love to see your fix. Thanks for the offer!

Aha. I just emailed you saying I can't find you. We're in 85P, first site east of the old Teton Homes fifthwheel on that road you come in on. Looking forward to seeing how you fixed this.
