Burned water hose

This past April I had need to use the furnace in my 3295 for the first time. The exhaust vent for the furnace is directly below the water intake and the water hose got too close to the exhaust vent and was burned. The hose didn't burst but it is black, hardened and enlarged. On one recent trip, I looped the hose over the up over the post that the water value was attached. On another trip, I looped the hose up over the living room slide out to keep out away from the vent. Anyone else had this problem or have any solutions?

I did the same thing. Then the same day, I left my key in the lock of the outdoor shower, and my car key and remote both melted. (When my unit was at Goshen for some warranty work, they replaced the shower head and hose for me, even though it was my own problem)

I am going to do something to keep the door from hanging all the way down (but I probably will wait till after I repeat the problem!
