CLEANING Shower Door Slide area

How do you clean the area the shower door slides in on the bottom? I have tried various brushes, most have been too big to get in to the three different slide areas, tried a toothbrush, works, but had to be cut down and still leaves much to be desired.

Well first thing I did was file the oval slots at the bottom of the door track larger so they actually let all the water drain. Then I put a couple extra stainless steel screws in the track bottom to secure the inside slot which helped tip the track toward the shower drain. This keeps the track much cleaner for much longer, then use a long handled q tip to clean them out once a month or so....

I took a regular butter knife and wrapped a washcloth around it. Worked great!

Wife had me remove completely and install a curved shower rod. New curtain. Works great.

We fought with that track for some time. We put up a compression shower rod and curtain. No more water in track.

We just use foam paint brushes. They fit the track and we use one from each end and meet them at the drain hole. Once the first track is done we use a third brush behind the drain hole to keep the water moving toward the shower. Works every time.
