LED LIGHT CONVERSION

DQDick,

I've been slowly converting our Monty over to LED's. I've been purchasing the LED's from Mike at Filament Free. However, I've now come to the 120/130 volt lights by the dining table.

Mike says he doesn't sell these & I've been unable to find LED's at Home Depot & such that are small enough to fit in the light fixture properly. There's two (2) lights per fixture & they're shaped like candle bulbs.

Where did you purchase your 120/130 volt LED's ?? Also, do I need to install some type of a transformer to reduce the power to 12 volt to use the LED's that Mike sells ??

Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Our big light over the dining table we got what's called a "corn cob" from Michael and Kat. The one on the 110 wall sconce I got something like this: http://www.amazon.com/LEDwholesalers...andelabra+bulb I think they also have them at some of the big box stores.

Larry- if you have a Menards near you check with them on the LEDs they have. I've converted about half of our S & B to LED. They do some on sale at the present time. They are equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent. They do have others that run from about 25 watt and up!

Thanks for the information. I'll also try Menards, they're just done the street from me.
