Splindide combo install

I want to install the washer & dryer combo, but a little nervous about the vent hole, the stud placement, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There should be a sticker on the wall where the vent goes. We had ours installed at Camping World. The picture of our Montana is before we had it done.

Send a message via Yahoo to NCFischers
Early one morning, when the dew is on the trailer, look at the side of the trailer and you can see the trailer skeleton in the dew.

Before you cut that hole in the side here is what I did. I installed a sheet metal exhaust piece that went out the back of the W/D from round to flat to round and cut a hole in the lower back corner of the closet into the basement then a 90 degree elbow down through the floor and the lower trim. Works great but don't think it can be done with the newer Montana's that have the lowered basement floor. Not sure what is under the floor in that area now.

One thing you may want to consider is… when you know where you’re going to cut the hole; take a small drill bit and drill a few tiny holes around the pattern from the inside. If there are any studs in the way you should hit one of them before you do any major damage. If it is clear then you should be ok.

Hey everyone, thank you for the help, washer combo came in yesterday and I installed today, following Bill-n-Donna's advice drilled 3/4" spacing across 4"1/8 hole. Didn't detect any metal so game on for the hole, went perfect. Only problem, the bifould door was a little tight, getting the washer door open, and its adjusted right up to the jam. Washed & dried A load of cloths, very little vibration, Was impressed, nice machine. Again Thank You everyone ! Now, lights around the kitchen Island Hummmm ...!
