Turned in my keys

Today I ordained and installed the new pastor. We said our goodbyes. Now we look forward to being back on the road. The folks at the church were soooo appreciative of our work among them. Tears were shed -- hugs were shared. The warmth of this rich experience with believers in the State of Washington will travel with us as we make the 3,600 mile trek across America to North Carolina. The God I serve always seem to surprise me with something special. We are looking forward to the next episode of God's great adventure.

Stiles,
You said it all, my friend. There is nothing better than having the opportunity to serve the Lord. May your days ahead be full of joy and may you travel safely.

Safe and blessed travels. Enjoy God's handywork on the way. It is not the arriving at the destination that is the opportunity but the sights and folks along the way.
