Using Battery Disconnect with Solar Panel 2018 3791rd Montana

I have a 3791rd Montana that has a key style batter disconnect. I'm not sure what it disconnects. Can anyone explain? My second question is I recently had a solar panel installed to keep the batteries fresh. Should the battery disconnect be on or turned to the off position?

Thanks

First welcome to the forum.

The key switch in the inconvenience center isolates the battery from the converter.
It turns off most of the things that consume 12VDC.

For you solar question:
The key should be off in case you left anything on.
you might want to make sure that your solar system can handle what draw there is on the batteries while you are storing it.
