How Hard is it to Install SK1000 Wineguard Satellite Dish?

So I am going to spring for the over priced Wineguard Satellite Dish for my new Fiver. My question is, do I need to have it professionally installed, or can a simpleton like me get er done?

I can follow directions but am not a very good hands on kind of guy. It looks to me like you simply trace the pattern...caulk it...screw it down? I am assuming you don’t have to worry about whats under the roof and simply screw it down?

If any of you guys have done it, I would really appreciate your input. Thanks!

I have a Winnegard Traveler on my current rig, and had one on my 2010. Both installed by my dealer. I would worry more about the wiring of the electrical and satellite cable than the actual installation of the antenna.

I installed Winegard traveler last spring myself mounting to roof was easy finding where to run the cables in the rig was the hard part. Was able to run it down next to one of my vent which was between he wall, that went to basement behind my pass through storage where i was able to connect to my satalite wiring.
