Hot Water Tank Question after Winterization
Just curious when the cold weather folks winterize the trailer, do you reinsert the anode rod, or just leave it out for the rest of the winter?

I put mine back in just finger tight, that keeps any critters from getting in.

Same here! Empty the tank, flush it out and then put the anode rod back in just part way and leave myself a note to tighten it before heading out again.

Left mine out one winter. Come spring I forgot where I put it.
Had to go to my local RV dealer and pick up a new one. First trip out I found the old one. Oh well, now I have a spare. Since then I just finger tight back in place for winter storage.

I always put mine in tight so I didn't have any senior moments in the spring and forget to tighten it.
Now I just go south for the winter and don't bother with the winterizing thing...lol.
