Battery Charge After Winter Sitting

We have our Monty sitting at a RV park for the winter. Unit has been winterized, power & water dis-connected, battery ground wire removed. This is our first year at this.
Yesterday I was at the site & re-connected the battery ground & connected the shore power with my surge connector attached. Surge connector had okay coding of power. I left the Monty pluged in about 6 hours. I did not use any equipment within the unit nor did I open the slides. My purpose of being there was to charge the battery & clean up the area of leaves, twigs, etc.
After about 6 hours of yard work it was time to leave. Unhooked the shore power & was ready to leave when I thought to check the battery status. The monitor panel showed one red light for an instant for the battery & then went out. I would take this as meaning the battery is not charged.

My questions are --
Do I need to turn on the converter after non-use ??
Where is the converter located on our model - 2011 3345SA ??
Is there a fuse I should be checking first & where is that fuse box ??
Should I dis-connect both connections of the battery, clean the posts & connectors & re-atteched to fix the problem ??
Could it be low water in the battery itself ??
Should I use a volt meter to determine if the battery is charged & not rely on the monitor system ??

I know these are a lot of questions but I'm trying to learn what procedure I should follow in the future.

Thanks in advance for any & all help.

I don't know a lot about this, someone who does will be along soon, but is it possible you froze the battery. If so, it might be dead.

If I may throw a question in too... If you are plugged in like this but have the battery disconnect off, will the batteries still charge?

You indicated you did not use anything in the fifth wheel. Are you sure the converter kicked on?

If the battery did not take a charge,it may have a shorted cell. you can do a voltage check to see if you have approx 13.5 to 14 volts. but the best way is to remove the batt. and take it somewhere to do a draw test and see if it has a bad cell. DQDICK is correct a weak battery will freeze and ruin it.
