Ram power tailgate lock
Don't know if this has been brought up or not. Ram has a kit out that locks/unlocks the tailgate with your key fob and the keyed lock is still functional. It's an easy install as I did it myself in about two hours. For those with bed covers this is a very convenient add on. Here's a link; http://www.leeparts.com/2009_dodge_r...gate_lock.html

Unfortunately, my truck did not come with a locking tailgate so I can't use this. Would have been nice!

Looks like a great add on, but one of the mods on my truck was putting a 5er tailgate on it and moving the camera to the new tailgate. Now I don't have a Ram lock anymore.

Dick,
What kind of 5th wheel tailgate did you get and how did you move the camera to it?

It's a Stromburg and it actually came with an access area to mount the camera in. It's composite and not metal so they say don't stand on it, but it seems strong enough for normal things and it is much lighter than the stock tailgate so a honda generator can probably ride free as far as weight goes.
