Levi Stauss - A Patriot

While we are talking about our vets and all they have done, I want to mention what others are doing as well. Our step grandson is on his 4th tour of duty in Iraq. He went first as active duty (Marines), then his guard unit was called up twice. When he returned home the last time, his unit was disbanded and he was assigned to another unit and you guessed it, they were called up. He works for Levi Stauss company and they pay him the difference between his military pay and his salary with them. They have done it all four times and his job is waiting for him when he returns. So buy Levis and support them because they are supporting our soldiers.
Happy trails..........................

Sue,

I heard that before on the news, and it is absolutely wonderful.

.....if I could just find a pair of Levi's to fit short, fat, and balding, I'd buy several pair.

Thanks for the reminder.

THANKS TO ALL VETS!!!!

As being in the clothing business for many years , if i am not mistaken there is no longer a levie straus owned company in the usa it is only a brand name owned by a japinese or chinease co ,, this all happened 5 to 10 yrs ago but the new owners mite still be good citizens and pay but to me they are no longer as they closed all the us plants and now are all over seas,,, sailer

Glad to hear that there are still a few supporters like this around. OTOH, I do kind of resemble what simonsrf stated about how they fit.

Robbie, what I meant was I couldn't understand what the receding hairline had to do with the fit of Levis!

Don still wears Levi's. That is the only brand he will wear.

Thank you to all vets! For all that you have done.

It is good to know there are companies out there that will do this for those who serve our country.
I too have cousins over there. Some of my cousins have children serving there.
My son has a 65 % medical disability, discharge from the Navy.
Don was in Army.
All of my uncles were in the military.

Hope it is true.

Y'all can buy a pair for fat, then by a pair for short. Then have it tailored for short and fat.

Balding, no help there - have the same problem!

I have always liked Levis and will make a special point to buy more of them now. Christmas is coming right?

OK Sue,

How about short, fat, balding with a cowboy hat?...or a pink MOC hat?
