Swivel Wheel Trailer Pics

I don't know if this works, but here is a link to the pics I uploaded of my Swivel Wheel Trailer...love it and after taking the bike up to the top of Pike's Peak it was worth it too.

Harry,

Remove the DIGI0521.jpg from your string. As it is now, it only shows the one pic.

Looks pretty slick. Next time you got your camera out, show us how you attached the hitch to the Monty. Was the hitch a separate add?

Harry,
Looks great. Would like more information on how it is mounted to your 5er. Is welding to the frame required? Any problems with the frame? Where did you get the swivel trailer and $$$. Wonder if I could use one to pull my golf cart.

Fortunately for me I actually found this swivel wheel on E-bay about an hour away from my house and I got it for $500! The company website is www.swivelwheel.com and they are EXPENSIVE from them. You can buy just the swivel wheel assembly from them and build your own platform though and from what I've seen in this forum there are some folks who could certainly do that. The hitch is the Hidden Hitch Motorhome hitch...82201 (needs to be wide to span the frame) and it is bolted on....I think it is the same hitch that Ozz and others have used. I moved the rear stablizers forward a little....I used the forward mounting hole for the rear and drilled 2 new forward holes for it. I took the hitch and the swivel wheel mounting bracket to a welder and he welded on the dual attach points to both the bracket and the hitch.....it came with a single attach point and was pretty wobbly. A golf cart might be a bit much, but you'd have to know the weight of it to know for sure...there are some specs on the swivel wheel site. I'll try and get some clearer pictures of the attach points today and post them.
