Easiest to maintain
Thinking about a new truck, actually Louise dropped a hint. Any way after having just changed my air and fuel filter I was wondering which diesel trucks were fairly easy to work on. Don't know if I'll be getting a new or almost new. I better be a good boy and for heavens sakes don't mention it at the rally. Thx

Ford 6.7 is easy for routine maintenance, both the fuel filters and air. Oil is standard spin-on filter. Significant improvement over the 6.0.

How many times have I heard this over the years. "Im going to pay you out of a special account so my wife won't know." Or something like that.

Except this time it will be out of her account. I hope.

My wife and I were riding down the road one day and she said " aren't you about due for a new truck". I thought that is good enough for me so I bought me a new truck.

If Debbie ever uttered those words, I'd swear it was a trick question.

I can't help. I gave up working on them a long time ago. Taking it to the dealer is pretty easy though.

Now to answer your question, sorta. I don't think you will find much difference maintenance. Or not enough to make any difference in buying an expensive vehicle. I would suggest go drive then all really get to know them all then decide which truck is best for you. What is important to me may not be to you and since it's your wife's money you need to at least get the color she likes.

Yeah, that is the most important thing. If they don't approve of the color, you will never hear the end of it. Three years now, and she still complains that we didn't get the right color
