has anybody installed a fifth wheel hitch in the new 2011 chevy 3500 dually.do they run the bolts all the way through the frame or just they oustside edge of the tube frame.i heard if you use the custom brackets they have changed from 2010 to 2011.they universial brackets are the same.was it an easy install?

Thor, had mine done a couple of weeks ago, used the custom brackets from Reese. Bolts were installed in the outside edge of the box frame, using existing holes, no drilling in the frame. But be aware, Reese used a 2500 as their guide and the installer had to do some triming to clear the Helper Spring Bumpers. Reese was notifed, but don't know how long before they correct the brackets for use on 3500s. Other than that installation was pretty simple. Just completed a 1000 mile trip to Goshen and back and it towed the Monty like a dream. Since 6th Gear isn't locked out in Tow/Haul anymore (need to be about 70 for an upshift) I forced an upshift by taking out of T/H let it upshift and then back to T/H, pulled all the way across Ohio and Indiana.
