Does anyone know the dimensions of both the grey water and black water tanks? I want to replace them but dont have dimensions and the trailer is 7 hours away? capacity does not work, I need actual dimensions. Thanks

You will also need to know the location of the inlet, vent and discharge pipes. They are not in standard locations. They were cut out at the factory during installation.
When it comes time I am going to get rotomoulded tanks from here

Welcome new member! It would be helpful if you added a signature line(s) stating as a minimum the year and model of your unit.

I would drop the belly and measure, you might find a part number or at least the manufacturer. Many production changes often occur.

Without know what rig you have, this is impossible to answer. You would do better to go to this site, enter your brand and year, click plumbing under category, and then tank under subcategory, then click search, and if the parts are still available, it will give you info about the tanks, waste and fresh. https://www.trekwood.com

I had to replace my grey tank. I dropped the belly and looked at the side of the tank. There was a label "Manufactured by Travel Star...". The part number and dimensions on the label were blank, however there was a number "295" written in crayon on the outlet side. I found the exact tank at www.rvandvansurplus.com under their part number 333295.

This is the link showing your tanks, at least the main black, grey, and fresh, at least these are what are available at Trekwood.

FYI, the 2980 is a Montana - I had one. Unless they made Mountaineer of same number back then.

Tom and Gail, We had the same unit (2980) and it is definitely a Montana. Ours was a 2004 model.

unrealistic to figure it out with your trailer 7 hours away. simple solution.....take it to a dealer if you need the tanks replaced.
