Hope you guys can make the rally as we would like to see what was done to beef up your camper. We have that trip on our list but there is no way we will do it without reenforcing the 3400. My thought is that is would be more cost effective to do the needed modifications here rather than fall apart on the hiway.Your repairs may be the prototype..would like to hear what Lippert and Keystone have to say about that.

I sure agree w/Daid and Jo-Anna re. Team Montana/Keystone stepping up in times of need. They did same for us when we had our pin box failure this summer. Yea. Looking forward to thanking them in person at the Rally!!

That Keystone reimbursed the repair is what I thought would happen when they had all the facts. I know you are glad to be on the road again. Happy RVing.......

Glad to see someone is bringing the crossbracing back. I have three between my six spring hangers. It was done under Keystone Service Advisory 00-8. But that was a long time ago.

I KNEW KEYSTONE WOULD. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT KIND OF COMPANY THEY ARE, and why my next rig will be a Big Sky or Montana.
The support you get from Keystone counts for a lot with me.
safe travels David and Jo Ann
OH BRANSON IS FINE IN 2009, MAYBE THIS TIME YOU CAN ATTEND.

Dave and Jo-Anna the cross bar was the repair that we had done to ours...it had bowed out and our dealer actually caught this when Keystone had authorized the change in our axles (long story) .. the cross bar is a fix that Mor/Ryde is using as our dealer had told us. Glad to see that Keystone is paying and all is fixed

Yep, it's great Keystone stepped up to the plate and will pay for this break down. However, with proper planning and engineering on their part, it never would of happened. I for one, will never take a Keystone product to Alaska...I don't trust them in a rough environment. Sure some have done it and did fine...sorry, I'm not going to take make that trip and worry the entire time if I'm going to have a catastrophic failure of my Keystone's frame/body. I would still like to know if there is any correlation between this failure and the increase in axle/GVWRs. Did added weight have anything to do with the failure?
