Chevy Official Truck of What?
I just noticed Camping World advertises that Chevrolet is the Camping World Official Car and Truck!!
What the heck does that mean? I didn't know they were looking for an official car and truck for a store that sells to ALL brands. Does that mean GM gave the owner, his wife, his mother, and his kids new Escalades for life?
hahaha - guess I'll have to take my Ford and shop somewhere else. Maybe I'll open a new franchise called Camping Universe and cater to us Ford and Dodge hat guys! Heck, I won't even use a 130% markup on my products!

Brad, that only means you will pay 130% when you buy it from them.

Camping Universe sounds good to me. I think Camping World is over priced and over rated. It reminds me of a cheap TG&Y from the 1970's every time I walk through the door.

Ahhh, that is an off-shoot of stock car racing as they sponsor Busch Series car which is a Monte Carlo. Since there is such a public following they are trying to make a draw on the advertising side of things.
Ok...not the Monte...but still a Chevy

Ford, Dodge, Chevy, GMC, Toyota, Nissan it doesn't matter. Camping World is still the best location for RVer's needs. Sure you can buy it cheaper online but until you add the postage and the waiting it all comes out to pretty much the same price and when you can handle the item you are 100% sure you get exactly what you want. Too often when buying online I have received a substitute or something that the online store ships you in error. I don't need that kind of hassle. I can run into the local CW and have what I need the same day. Even with CW just 25 miles away we still have numerous RV dealers in the immediate area that are higher priced than CW. An RV dealer less than 500 feet away charges at least 20% more than CW. If I need it in an emergency than I'll pay that but if not I'll get it at CW on my next trip out that way. Even on the road I usually run across a CW some where in my travels.
AND, I have bought the same identical item at CW where Wal*Mart had a higher price. A good example was a 20' section of sewer hose that cost $2 more at Wally World and NO it wasn't on sale at CW.

Glenn, you forgot to add in what you are paying for fuel for a round trip to CW.

No not really. I only stop at CW when I am already in the area. I said "If I need it in an emergency than I'll pay that (meaning the local RV dealer) but if not I'll get it at CW on my next trip out that way."
