Seems I am with a minority again--not unusual for me.
We still prefer charcoal, but it is getting harder to find a small charcoal grill. In fact, we need a new one now and I am looking for one. The last I got was from Camping World.
We have never used a "gas" grill.

We have a Baby Q for Monty, and liked it so much we bought a full sized Weber for home use. Best there is, IMO.

For a small charcoal grill try Walmart or Home Depot.

I got a "Son of Hibachi" http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000AQK0AY/...SIN=B000AQK0AY for my birthday last year. It uses charcoal and is the right size for 2 big steaks or several brats, etc. It folds up and can be stored in it's bag soon after you're done using it. I like it for the camper. Seems to solve the size problem and the want for real charcoal flavor. Good luck with your search.

We have purchased 3 Baby Q's. ONe for our Monty, one for our son for his 5th wheel, and one for our park model down here in Yuma. We have owned our first unit for 3 years now and it has never failed to light. To clean simply take it off the stand and set it on the ground. Spray liberally with Totally Awesome or some other cleaner and let stand for 15 minutes then spray off with fresh water. If you need any new foil drip pans, get the brownie and square pans from Safeway, same size but much cheaper. In our past 40 years of RVing we have probably left a trail of broken down, no good tin BBQ's behind us. Thanks WEber for a great grill.
Don't forget to preheat for 10 minutes for best results.

We BBQ a lot and got tired of replacing the cheap small $20 propane ones every year, and now have the Q220 and love how it cooks, even smaller whole roasts and chickens on those cheap ribbed aluminum roasting pans.
On ours, at around 70F ambient temp, the inside is around 350 on low, lid closed without any wind.
Also those water/steam BBQ cleaners with a wire brush work great on cast iron grills.

Charcoal, baby!
I have a little Sunbeam grill that's done fine for me for years, even when I have company for supper. I don't think you can get them any more, but here's a photo.

We picked up the Weber Q120 with the temp gauge built in, rolling Weber Q collapsable cart and Weber Q hose adapter for the 20 propane tank. We love it! Has the cast-iron grill and cooks meals perfectly. Our best price was through aim.com.

We have the Q220 with the griddle. we do not cook inside. Our 2006 2955rl is like new inside. no odors, no grease.
if we are at a campground with the open grills, we will use charcoal or wood to grill salmon, shrimp, steaks. The griddle does an excellent job in the morning with pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage. our rule is to cook only things that cook in water inside the trailer. grits, rice. oatmeal. none of which we use very much of on paleo diet. guests sometimes want rice, grits, etc
the best thing about WEBER products is that many of them are USA made, by Americans who are proud of their product!

I believe the "Baby Q" designation covers all the small weber's.
