MONTANA FRIENDS

I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO START THIS. Well Ok, from the beginning.

Since 2005 when my DW and I bought our MONTANA, we have been so lucky in meeting and talking to all of you on this forum, the additional plus, was to actually meet some of the MONTANA owners and visit, and become friends.

These last three years, we have met more great people, than all through my police and retail security travels.

This afternoon was a fine example, just about knocked me off my feet. Christa had just departed for the DOCTOR. (These things are getting pretty regular) I had just arrived back home and there was the DARN DOOR BELL RINGING.
I walked over (what in the ^%%#$ is wrong or broke now)????

It was OZZ at the door with a big smile on his face and a wash brush in his hand. ( he said, """understand you headed out with MUDCHIEF to the AMANA COLONIES for OCTOBERFEST""" and you need to WASH YOUR RIG) before you go>>>>>>> You could have knocked me over with a feather.

I have been in BAD SHAPE for the last week or so, and how this man knew that, I don't know. I can tell you that he drove 60 some miles from Kansas City to Topeka TO HELP WASH MY RIG.. That's 120 round trip and DAMN Kansas Turnpike fee's and Fuel on top of that....

NOW,, That's a MONTANA FRIEND if there every was one... I HOPE TO RETURN the favor when I can.

After the Job was done, OZZ left like the LONE RANGER. Headed back go Kansas City.

JUST WANT TO SAY THANKS BUDDY, I WILL NOT FORGET..... and that is what this FORUM and the people involved are all about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God Bless John

John,

It doesn't get much better than that! As Margee of D&M on the road says..... The MOC is not just a Forum but a family. Or something similar.

I think that this forum has brought a lot of us together and we have become family. Ozz, thanks for taking care of one of our members. John, take care and we hope to be one of the lucky ones to meet up with you some day.

Nice to know that there really is people out there willing to help others and expect nothing in return.

Our hats off to you...Ozz!

John, you are right. This is quite a special group. We met you and Oz at the Branson Rally and know that you are well worth the consideration and that Ozz is the one to show you that.

Thanks for sharing this story. On a daily basis we're bombarded with negativity from the media so it is wonderful to know that there is still much unreported goodness in the world. Its no wonder that I'm addicted to reading the MOC Forum. :-)

I hope that when we get on the road we can be as thoughtful and ready to help as OZZ, as lucky to have MOC friends as HemlockUSA, and healthy enough to enjoy both.
Nice post Hemlock.
Nice job Ozz.
We hope to meet you both on the road sometime.

Hang in there, Larry. I think you will probably plan a trip up to Sedona, looks like you appreciate the beauty America offers.

I guess I will have to run a test on this. I hereby pledge to not wash the Montana and see what happens..........NOT!! Ha!Ha! Seriously though, the Golden Rule is a fantastic role-model for all of us to adhere to!!! Great job, Ozz.

I forgot to say something in my last post...John - I do hope both you and Christa are feeling better.
Some things about getting older sucks, but at least you are getting older together. Hang in there bud - and I wish better days ahead for you.

Sorry we couldn't meet up with you guys in Amanda Colonies - once a year in Branson just isn't enough to see my buds.

John, Jim and Sue are good people, as you know. We've had the pleasure of meeting them and you and Christa as well and count you all among our friends. We have not yet had the pleasure of meeting Dennis and his wife but hope we can do that when we're next in the KC area.

John and Christa, I hope whatever the problems you are experiencing, you are on the mend.

Ozzie, I LIKE your bug! First I tried to wipe it off my screen before I realized it's in your signature! I have saved it for personal use. I hope you don't mind.
