RV entry steps
Some of us with the level floor at the entry instead of the indented step have three steps with tall risers. There is a replacement step assembly with 4 steps rather than three, hence shortening the step rise. I saw one today installed on a 2007 Big Sky 340RLQ. They are made in Elkhart, IN by ElkHart Tool and Die. If you are interested, look here.

Stiles, I just finished making an additional wooden step for our 3455sa. And when I saw the price for the four step, I'll keep toting my wooden step around!

We had the 4 step option on the 5er we ordered. We had the 4 step on another 5er we owned and they are much better. If I remember they are made in Goshen, and cost around $200.00 + or - really makes it a lot strain getting in and out. GBY......easyer ge

We noticed a little difference without the suicide step inside, but it isn't too bad. After Steve's comment, I'm afraid to look to see how much the four step is.

I will probably not do this. There are too many higher priorities for that $200, but for those with bad knees where the three stepper is a challenge, there is the four step option and it ain't Chinese built........yet.

Ya know, when we finally decided to retire to a smaller stickhouse we were very happy to not only downsize but get rid of the second story to avoid stairs. We decided to upgrade our lower profile TT and have more room and luxury by buying our Montana.
Now we stay at home in our stickhouse and use the Monty for fun but guess what? Our Monty is almost the same as a two story because it is 7, count them 7 steps to get to the bedroom - 3 exterior steps, 2 step at the Monty entry and 3 more to climb into the bedroom. This reminds us we must stay in shape just to get to sleep.
We don't need any more steps even if the rise is smaller. Ugh! I think I will work on a portable escalator! Now there's an overkill idea.
