Two Rivers CG in Nashville

Any thoughts on this CG in Nashville. We will be taking our 14 yo twin grandsons in June to Nashville, it is their idea. Thanks for all the advise of fellow MOCers.

Dave its a nice campground, very friendly folks that run it. Just try not to get by the fence where the bus garage is. Its noisy on that side at night. But you will be close to things to sight see. I recommend it above anything else close by

We stay at 2 Rivers Campground for Memorial Day every year for the past 4 years and in total we have been there 7 trips. We stay for a week each time. 2 Rivers is our 1st stop each spring as we start heading out for the summer.
4 or 5 nights a week they have live entertainment on the back porch of the office. A really great group is "HOT DAMN". They are there every year and will be there when you will be there. Don't miss them.
They have a very clean laundry and rest rooms. A large pool and store. Shuttles stop for the Opry and tour buses will pick you up.
Speaking of tours, The best tour bus is Tommy's Tours. Tommy has just one bus which he drives. He was born and raised in Nashville and knows everything there is to know about the area. It is never a boring ride with Tommy. He'll even stop at the local farmers market where you can buy fresh produce and other stuff.
The best sites are the 300 & 400 rows. DO NOT take a site in the 100 row. The 100 row backs up to the Gray Line tours bus barn. They work on the busses ALL NITE long.
Adjacent to the 400 row is an RV dealer that handles the entire Montana line. Camping World is just a very short walk.
In MHO 2 Rivers Campground is THE BEST CG in the Nashville area.

We have stayed there several times and love it. That RV park is part of the reason we have a Montana. The first time there we had a 28 ft. Cardinal. Walked next door to the Montana dealer and liked what we saw. The next spring we purchased our first Montana.

You will have a great time there.

Thanks everybody. I am convinced and will make reservations tomorrow. Now I just have to figure out how the twins developed a taste for country western. Oh well couldn't understand our own teenagers how can I ever understand grandkid teenagers.

This is a campground that made it into the notebook. We had a wonderful time there, and as Glen posted earlier some great music. Can't remember the name of the tour guide we used, but the office recommended them. They also had tickets for the Grand Old Opry. Our tickets turned out to be wonderful.

If 2 Rivers recommended a tour guide it had to be Tommy. On a tour, he spends 75% of the time giving area info and the other 25% kidding around and telling jokes and if you are late getting back on the bus he will be picking on you until someone else is late. Whenever I'm on board we are constantly busting on each other.
During the live entertainment he quite often does a song called "You Don't Look Good Naked Anymore" followed by a very short plug for his tours.

One thing I failed to mention in my earlier reply.
Some of you older C&W fans will remember Mel McDaniels. Best known for "Baby Got Her Blue Jeans On". He lives in a 5th wheel fulltime at 2 Rivers and the best part is that 5er is a Montana.
