Montana 3585SA

We have about decided on trading for 3585SA and would like to hear the pros and cons from owners or previous owners. We've got a lot of good info on this website and are looking forward to hearing about the 3585's. Thanks.

We love our's,the rear kitchen is great, when you are cooking you have your own little space out of the way. I can't think of any con's. We do move the recliners so you are looking straight on at the tv.

We love ours. Large living area and the wife has no trouble doing her yoga in this space. She loves the kitchen, even better than the one at home. As for myself, no complaints at all, I did replace the living room TV latches with normal window locks, holds much better. I did buy a "Y" connector for the galley dump line, but have found that it is just as easy to move the one sewer line from the main sewer outlet to the kitchen dump line when it needs to be dumped. I did add additional cut off valves at the end of the main and galley hose connection areas which make them easier to reach and just about eliminates any drips. There are a few more folks on this forum that have the 3585 that can probably add to my comments. Lastly, the dishes do not bounce around in the rear kitchen.

We have the same model and love it! Although we were warned that things might bounce around in that rear kitchen, we've had no problems at all, even driving the unpaved, one mile long pothole-filled stretch of road between our home and the paved highway.

We really like the nice, open living area when the opposing slides are opened. There's plenty of room for us, a couple of grandkids in sleeping bags, and our 2 Australian shepherds and 1 cat in that space.

Two things sold us on the 3585, the rear kitchen and the full bathroom. The only cons to us are it seems to carry a lot of pin weight and it doesn't have much of a coat/shoe closet on the main level or have a pantry. I hate the roll-out sofa airbed. Nothing but a thin mattress that gets punctured at least once a month and a mechanism that has broken twice in the past two years. As soon as I hit my frustration tolerance level it is going to the landfill.

We went today and looked over the 3585 and true to the ages old option of ladies changing their mind---it happened...! She seen a 3465 and that did it-----we ordered the 3465 as the one we looked at was already sold. Thanks for giving me your opinions, I appreciate that very much.
