Black Tank Flush, Ideas Please

I am having trouble trying to get water through the black tank flush. It started to go through and then quit. I could not get any water through. Tried removing the screen and putting water in, no luck. Had 60#'s of water pressure. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thank You in advance.

There is a pressure relief valve probably located under your bathroom sink that is no doubt defective. I had the same problems you described. I took the valve out, pulled the water line down into the basement and installed a in-line ball valve. Now when I flush I turn on the water, then the valve. When I am done flushing I turn off the valve first then the water. You can replace the relief valve with a new on but if it ever has to relieve itself it will do it under your sink.

Doug probably nailed it but if bychance that isn't it, check at the inlet. Pull out the screen and there is a one-way checkvalve with a little white button (on ours anyhow). If the checkvalve malfunctions it can cause this problem. But Doug's suggestion is the most likely culprit.

Doug, do you have a picture of that valve you installed? Also, before you get away from the rally I'd like to see yours.

Steve, I do have a picture but it is to large for the forum. If you would like a copy of it I will print it out for you. Please remind me to show it to you today at the show and tell.

Doug, if you want to email it to me I can reduce it for you. I'm not sure you have the internet signal from our 3 rally folks with routers over there? If not, bring your laptop over here and we can reduce it or whatever.

Gene in my 3670 it was located under my sink vanity in the bedroom. Maybe someone who has a 3400 knows where it is located.

Steve, I emailed you the picture.

Gene,
On my '05 3400 it was behind a plastic panel in the upper pantry cabinet to the right of the frige. It was located down about a foot and required a mirror and flashlight to see. The (old world craftsman) that cut the panel opening missed it by a mile.

Ken, Thank you. That is where it is. I was wondering what in the heck that was. What a devil of a place to get at.

Doug, thanks again. That is quite a setup you have there.
